Banwo Smith was in Government College Ibadan from 1959 to 1965 & had Dereck John Bullock, DJB as Principal throughout his stay in the College.

DJB was intrumental to his studying Industrial Chemistry at Loughborough University of Technology by paying his first year fees!

The Bullocks family home was his home during his stay in England and remained a 'Son' to the Bullocks.

Banwo Smith was a Brewer with Nigerian Breweries, where he ended up as Executive Director before retiring.

He also served Heineken in Ghana, Sierre Leone & Angola as CEO of their operations
